Highways:
Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Freeway runs through Jiashan County and its Dayun Exit is just 3 kilometers away from county town Weitang town, while its Fengjing Exit (Shanghai) is just 9 kilometers away. The under construction Shanghai-Jiaxing-Huzhou Freeway, Suzhou-Nantong Freeway and Hangzhou Bay Bridge all have exit to Jiashan. The G320 and G318 run through the county from east to west. The Jiashan-Jiangsu Freeway connects the Zhapu Port and Wujiang in Jiangsu province.
Railway:
Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway runs through the county and has cargo station and passenger station. We also have special train from Shanghai to Jiashan.
Airports:
Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is 72km away and 45 minutes' drive. Shanghai Pudong International Airport is 105km away and 65 minutes' drive. Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport is 100km away and 60 minutes' drive.
Waterways
Seaports: Shanghai International Port (120km, with a throughput of 10 million containers); Ningbo Port (90 minutes after the use of Hangzhou Bay Bridge); under construction Yangshan International Deep-water Port, the biggest port in Asia (95km away, with a throughput of 15 million); Zhapu Port (35km).
Inland River: Shanghai-Hangzhou Waterway is an important inland waterway in Yangtze River Delta. It is a state 4-level inland waterway with a navigational capacity of 300 to 500 ton and also connects Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. |
